Today will be partly cloudy with some showers on the east coast and in Torres Strait, with a few more scattered showers further north of Townsville. Inland southern Queensland will have some clouds, while the rest of the state will be mostly sunny. Expect some morning frost in central and southern Queensland. Temperatures will be around average during the day and below average at night.

Saturday, 7th June

There will be some scattered showers in the eastern districts and central and southern interior regions to the east of Tambo to Goondiwindi. Showers will become more widespread along the northeast tropical coast north of Townsville. The western districts will be mostly sunny, while other areas will be partly cloudy. Temperatures will be around or slightly above average.

Sunday, 8th June

Today, there will be occasional rain showers in the eastern and inland areas from Hughenden to Charleville. Showers will be more widespread in the northeast tropical coast above Townsville. It will be mostly sunny in the west and partly cloudy in other areas. There may be frost in the south. Temperatures will be normal or higher in the east and cooler in the west.

Monday, 9th June

There will be occasional showers in some parts of eastern and interior districts of Queensland, with the possibility of frost in the mornings in the southern interior. Showers will clear up in southern Queensland by Wednesday, but may continue in the northeast tropical coast. Overall, temperatures will be around average in the northeast and cooler than usual in other areas, with the chance of frost in the mornings in the southern and central interior.
