NSW and ACT: A cold front is moving into the south of the state today and will travel across the east by Wednesday, bringing cold weather. After that, a high pressure system will move in towards the end of the week.
VIC: On Tuesday, a cold front will bring cooler weather to southern Victoria. Later in the week, a high pressure system will bring stable conditions before another cold front brings warmer air from the north on Friday.
SA: A weak line of low pressure over South Australia will shift eastward today, while a high-pressure system in the Southern Ocean will bring clear skies. Later in the week, the high will move northeast as a strong cold front approaches from the west.
WA: A wide area of low pressure is near the Pilbara coast, causing clouds to form over the western Pilbara region.
TAS: A strong high pressure system will move towards Tasmania from the west on Wednesday, then shift north on Thursday, bringing clear skies. A ridge will form over the state before moving east on Friday. A cold front will approach western Tasmania on Friday evening, bringing cooler temperatures.
NT: A low-pressure system is sitting over the Northern Territory, with a trough moving in from Western Australia. This will bring north winds to the southern areas from Wednesday. Some clouds are expected in the southwest later in the week.
