Today will be mostly sunny in the west of Longreach, with some isolated showers in other areas. The showers may become more widespread in the southern Queensland coast and interior, as well as on the eastern coast of Cape York Peninsula. There is a chance of thunderstorms in the southern interior and southeast. Morning fog is possible in the eastern districts. Maximum temperatures will be slightly above average, while minimum temperatures will be above average, but slightly below average in the northwest.
Tuesday, 3rd June
There will be some light rain showers in eastern Queensland today, becoming more widespread in the Darling Downs and Granite Belt. The rest of the state will be mostly sunny. There will be dry and occasionally strong westerly winds in southeast Queensland. Some areas may experience morning fog. Temperatures will be higher than usual, except in the northwest where they will be normal.
Wednesday, 4th June
Today will be mostly sunny with a few isolated showers in the North Tropical Coast and Peninsula. It will be warmer than usual in the east and about average everywhere else.
Thursday, 5th June
Today will be mostly sunny with isolated showers in the North Tropical Coast and Cape York Peninsula. There will be some isolated coastal showers on the east coast from Friday, but the rest of the country will remain sunny and dry. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than usual.
