There is a chance of thunderstorms near Yeppoon, the South East coast, and in the western Darling Downs and Granite Belt. It will be mostly sunny west of Longreach with isolated showers elsewhere. Morning fog is possible between Charters Towers and Moranbah. Temperatures will be near average in Cape York Peninsula and the southern interior, but below average elsewhere.
Sunday, 1st June
Today will be mostly sunny in parts of western Queensland and northern Queensland, with some isolated to scattered showers in other areas. There is a chance of a thunderstorm in Torres Strait and near the South East Coast. There might be some morning fog in certain parts of the southern interior. Temperatures will be around average in Cape York Peninsula and the southern interior, but below average in other areas.
Monday, 2nd June
Today will be mostly sunny in the west of Longreach, with some isolated showers in other areas that may become scattered over central, southern and southeast Queensland. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm in the southern interior and southeast, as well as through Torres Strait. Morning fog is expected in the eastern districts between Ingham and Roma. Maximum temperatures will be around average for this time of year.
Tuesday, 3rd June
Partly sunny in the central and western areas. Some showers in other regions, becoming more widespread in the southeast on Tuesday. High temperatures above normal in the northeast, around average in other areas.
