There will be showers and rain in the eastern and central parts of Queensland, from Charters Towers to the Sunshine Coast. It will be mostly sunny in the west, but there may be showers in other areas. There could be moderate rainfall in some areas and morning fog in others. Temperatures will be near average in Cape York Peninsula, below average in most areas, and well below average in the western and central districts.

Saturday, 31st May

There will be showers, rain, and possibly heavy rain in the eastern areas south of Mackay, but it will ease up as the day goes on. There might be a thunderstorm near Yeppoon. The western areas around Longreach will be mostly sunny, with some showers in other areas. There could be morning fog between Charters Towers and Moranbah. Temperatures will be close to normal in Cape York Peninsula and the southern interior, but cooler in other areas.

Sunday, 1st June

Today will be mostly sunny in the western part of Winton. There may be a few showers in other areas. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm in the Torres Strait. In the morning, there might be fog between Charters Towers and Emerald. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the southeast and normal in other regions.

Monday, 2nd June

Mostly sunny weather is expected west of Longreach, spreading into central areas by Tuesday afternoon. There may be some isolated to scattered showers in other regions. There is also a chance of a thunderstorm in the Torres Strait. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the northeast, but normal in other areas.
