QLD 4 Day Forecast Summary

Wednesday, 28th May

Clouds will be building up throughout the day with scattered showers in the western parts of Australia. These showers will later extend into the central and southern interior regions. Showers will become more widespread, with some areas experiencing continuous rain in the far west and southwest. In the tropical east, north of St Lawrence, isolated showers will occur, while over the northern interior, showers will be more scattered, especially north of Townsville. The rest of the areas will experience partly cloudy conditions. In South East Queensland, there will be fresh and gusty winds blowing from the west to southeast. Some areas between Ingham and Rockhampton may experience patchy morning fog. Maximum temperatures will be well below average in the southwest, below average in the southern interior, and around average in other areas.

Thursday, 29th May

Today will be mostly cloudy with rain in some parts of Queensland, especially in the southern region. There may be moderate rainfall in areas between Charleville and Hughenden. The northeast coast and northern Peninsula may also experience scattered showers. Temperatures will be around normal in the northeast but cooler in the interior and other regions.

Friday, 30th May

Today will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers in parts of eastern and central Queensland. There may be moderate rainfall in some areas of central Queensland, but it is still uncertain how much rain will fall. There will also be isolated showers along the northeast tropical coast. Temperatures will be near average in the northeast but below average in other parts of the state.

Saturday, 31st May

There will be cloudy skies with some rain in parts of Queensland from Hughenden to Charleville on Saturday. More rain is expected along the central and southeast coast. The western areas will be partly cloudy with some showers moving eastwards towards Birdsville and Mount Isa by Sunday. Showers will also be seen in Far North Queensland. More widespread showers and possible thunderstorms are expected in central and southeastern Queensland south of Mackay on Monday. Temperatures will be around average in the Far North and eastern Queensland but slightly cooler in other parts of the state.
