Queensland Synoptic

A ridge of high pressure will dominate the weather in Queensland for the next few days, bringing stable conditions. A weakening cloud band will pass over eastern Queensland today, but moisture levels will rise on Sunday as a trough approaches. This trough will move across southern and central Queensland on Monday before clearing off the east coast by Tuesday. Following the trough, a new ridge will build over the state from Tuesday, ensuring dry and settled weather. There is a chance of a new cloud band affecting western Queensland on Wednesday, before spreading eastwards towards the end of the week. Overall, expect a mix of sunny days and possible showers as the weather pattern shifts throughout the week.
