There will be some rain and a possibility of thunderstorms over Cape York Peninsula, with showers becoming more widespread along the North Tropical Coast. In other areas, there will be occasional showers, becoming more scattered in southern and central Queensland in the morning. Temperatures will be around normal for this time of year.

Sunday, 25th May

There will be occasional showers in northern Queensland, becoming more widespread along the North Tropical Coast. Showers will be less frequent in other areas. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the far southwest, but around normal in other regions.

Monday, 26th May

Today, there will be scattered showers in some parts of the state, mainly in the southern and central areas and along the east coast north of Townsville. There may be fog in the morning in eastern areas south of Bowen. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the southern and central regions, and normal elsewhere.

Tuesday, 27th May

There will be scattered showers across the state, with some areas experiencing isolated showers. The east coast north of Townsville, Darling Downs, and Granite Belt District will see more showers on Tuesday morning, while the far southwest will experience showers from Wednesday. Temperatures will be near average in some areas but below average in others, especially in the southwest from Wednesday onwards.
