There is a chance of thunderstorms in Torres Strait. Other areas will experience partly cloudy weather. Some morning fog is expected in the southern interior, central, and northern Queensland coasts. Temperatures will be lower than usual in the interior and near average elsewhere. Minimum temperatures will be lower than usual in the southern interior and average elsewhere.
Saturday, 24th May
Today, there will be some rain in the North Tropical Coast, Peninsula and Torres Strait. There might be a thunderstorm in the Torres Strait and parts of the western Peninsula. It will be partly cloudy in the southern interior and southwest, and mostly sunny elsewhere. Some areas may experience morning fog. Temperatures will be around average for this time of year, but a bit cooler in the southern interior.
Sunday, 25th May
Today will have some clouds and showers in most of Queensland, except for the southwest. There might be some thunderstorms in the Torres Strait. In the morning, there could be fog along the southeast coast, moving up to Capricornia and the southeastern parts of the Central Highlands and Coalfields. Temperatures will be higher than usual.
Monday, 26th May
Tomorrow will be a mix of sun and clouds in Queensland, with some scattered showers in certain areas. There is a possibility of thunderstorms around Torres Strait. Temperatures will be higher than usual, but will drop below average in the southern and western parts of the state starting Tuesday. Nighttime temperatures will also be above average, but will decrease in the south and west from Wednesday.
