In simple terms, the weather today will see some clouds in the far west and east coast of Australia, with a few showers in certain areas. Most places will be sunny. Temperatures will be a bit lower than usual in the middle of the country, but normal in other areas. Nighttime temperatures will be slightly higher in the southeast, but cooler elsewhere.
Friday, 23rd May
Today will have some clouds in the middle, east Queensland and Far North, but mostly sunny in the southwest. There may be a few showers in the southeast and along the east coast and Torres Strait. Temperatures will be a bit cooler than usual in the middle, but normal elsewhere. Overnight temperatures will be normal on Friday but warmer in the east starting Saturday.
Saturday, 24th May
It will be a mix of sun and clouds in the interior and south with some showers in the North Tropical Coast, eastern Peninsula and Torres Strait. Temperatures will be around the usual range during the day and slightly warmer at night. Everywhere else will be mostly sunny.
