Today, most of the state will experience isolated to scattered showers, with the far west and northwest becoming partly cloudy. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and widespread showers in southern Queensland, south of Rockhampton to Quilpie. Maximum temperatures will be slightly higher than usual in the east and north, lower than usual in the west, and around average everywhere else.

Today will be a mix of sun and clouds with some rain in different areas. The morning will bring showers in certain regions, while others may see more widespread rainfall. It will be warmer than usual in the east and north, cooler in the west, and about average everywhere else.

Sunday, 18th May

Today will be mostly sunny in the west and northwest, but partly cloudy in the south and east. There may be some isolated showers in the east, far south, and northern Peninsula, with showers becoming more scattered on the Gold Coast. Temperatures will be slightly above average in the east, below average in the west, and near average elsewhere.

Monday, 19th May

Today will be mostly sunny across most of the state, but there will be some clouds and isolated showers in the eastern districts, southeast, and northern Peninsula. Temperatures will be slightly lower than usual in most areas except the far north, and much cooler in the west early in the week. There could be frost in the morning between Tambo and Roma.
