There will also be showers in the east and Torres Strait, with a possibility of a thunderstorm in Torres Strait. Some fog is expected in the southeast. Temperatures will be slightly higher than usual in parts of southeast Queensland.
Thursday, 15th May
Today will be partly cloudy in the west with isolated to scattered showers in most interior regions and Cape York Peninsula. There will also be isolated showers in eastern districts and isolated thunderstorms in the southern interior and parts of the Southeast Coast. Temperatures will be around average.
Friday, 16th May
The weather will be partly cloudy in the west with some isolated to scattered showers in most of the interior and Cape York Peninsula. Showers will become less frequent by the end of the weekend. There will also be isolated to scattered showers in the eastern districts. Maximum temperatures will be below average in the west and near average elsewhere.
