In simple terms, the weather today will be partly cloudy in the far west of Australia with some isolated showers in the east between Charleville and Georgetown. There will also be scattered showers in the eastern districts and the far north, possibly becoming widespread at times in the Wet Tropics region. Expect strong southeasterly winds along the east coast north of K'gari. Temperatures will be around average for this time of year.

In simple terms, the weather today will be a mix of clouds and sun with a chance of rain in certain areas of Queensland. The temperatures will be around normal, but a bit warmer in some parts. It might rain more in the Wet Tropics area.
Wednesday, 14th May
There will be some scattered showers in the central regions, with partly cloudy skies in the far west. In the east and north, there will be a mix of isolated and scattered showers. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm in Torres Strait on Wednesday. Temperatures will be around average, but slightly warmer in the southeast and central east Queensland on Wednesday.
