Today will be mostly sunny with some clouds in the far west of Australia. There may be a few isolated showers in certain areas like Hughenden and Cape York Peninsula. The chance of a thunderstorm is higher in the north near Weipa. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the south and central regions.
Friday, 9th May
Today will be mostly sunny in the western part of Australia, with some isolated showers in the eastern interior from Charleville to Hughenden. There will be scattered showers along the east coast, with a chance of a thunderstorm near Torres Strait. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the south and normal in other areas.
Saturday, 10th May
On Saturday, there will be mostly sunny weather in the western part of Australia with some scattered showers in the eastern interior from Roma to Hughenden. Other areas may also see isolated showers, with more showers expected along the east coast. The North Tropical Coast may experience widespread showers over the weekend. By Sunday, isolated showers and partly cloudy skies will extend westward over much of the interior. There is also a chance of a thunderstorm in the Torres Strait. Maximum temperatures will be around average, but slightly above average in the southwest.
