Today will have some clouds in the far west, and a few scattered showers in the northern parts of Charleville and Emerald. There will also be some isolated showers in the east and far north, with a chance of thunderstorms near Lockhart River. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the south and central regions, and around normal in other areas.

Thursday, 8th May

Today will be mostly sunny with some clouds in the western and northern regions of Australia. There may be a few showers in certain areas like the north, east, and Cape York Peninsula. Thunderstorms are possible in Cape York and Torres Strait. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the southern parts of the country.

Friday, 9th May

On Friday, the western part of Australia will be mostly sunny with scattered showers in the eastern interior from Charleville to Hughenden. There will also be isolated showers in other areas, becoming more frequent along the east coast. Over the weekend, there will be more showers spreading west over the interior. The North Tropical Coast may experience widespread showers, with a chance of thunderstorms in Torres Strait. Temperatures will be higher than usual south of Townsville, returning to normal levels later on.
