Saturday, 3rd May

Partly cloudy with some showers expected in different parts of Queensland. Showers could become more widespread in certain coastal areas. There may be moderate rainfall in the North Tropical Coast and eastern Peninsula. There's a chance of thunderstorms in the north and southeast. Windy conditions with strong southeasterly winds along the east coast. Temperatures will be around average or slightly above in inland southern Queensland, and near or below average elsewhere.

Sunday, 4th May

Today will be partly cloudy in the northwest and southern interior of Australia with some isolated to scattered showers in other areas. There may be more widespread showers along the exposed South East coast. In the northeast tropical coast, there will be widespread showers with the possibility of moderate rainfall. There is also a chance of a thunderstorm over northern Cape York Peninsula and near the South East coast. Temperatures will be near or slightly above average in the far west and southern interior, and near average in other areas.

Monday, 5th May

Today will be mostly cloudy with some showers in the western part of Queensland from Longreach to Charleville. There may also be isolated to scattered showers in other areas, with more widespread rain possible on the Sunshine Coast and K'gari. The northeast tropical coast could see heavy showers, with a chance of thunderstorms in northern Cape York Peninsula. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the far west and southern inland regions, while staying around average in other areas.

Tuesday, 6th May

There will be some clouds in the western part of Australia, with a few showers possible in the interior of Queensland from Charleville to Longreach, but this will decrease by Thursday. There may be scattered showers in eastern and Far North Queensland, especially along the east coast and Peninsula, with more widespread rain expected in the Wet Tropics and far northern Peninsula. There is a chance of a thunderstorm in the far northern Cape York Peninsula. Temperatures will be near or slightly below average in Far North Queensland, but near or above average in other areas over the next few days.
