QLD 4 Day Forecast Summary

Tuesday, 29th April

There will be some light rain in the northwest and on the exposed coast of the southeast. Showers will be scattered in the northern Cape York Peninsula, spreading with occasional thunderstorms in Torres Strait. The central and northern east coast and the southwest will be mostly sunny, while the northwest will be cloudy at times. Other areas will be partly cloudy. Temperatures will be lower than usual in the west and southern interior, dropping even more in the far west, but staying around average in other areas.

Wednesday, 30th April

There will be a few showers along the east coast south of Yeppoon and northern Cape York Peninsula. Showers will increase and there may be some isolated thunderstorms in Torres Strait. The southwest will be mostly sunny, the northwest will be cloudy at times, and other areas will be partly cloudy. Temperatures will be below average in the west and southern interior, getting even colder in the far west, but near average in other areas.

Thursday, 1st May

There will be some light rain showers along the east coast below Cooktown, with more showers in the north of Cape York Peninsula and Torres Strait. The southern and western areas will mostly be sunny, while other parts will be partly cloudy. Temperatures will be around normal in the east, cooler in the southwest, and slightly lower in other areas.

Friday, 2nd May

There will be some rain showers in the east and over Cape York Peninsula, with more widespread rain along the exposed east coast. There may also be a chance of thunderstorms in Torres Strait. The rest of the state will be partly cloudy. Temperatures will be cooler than usual in Queensland.
