NSW and ACT: A big storm is hanging around the Mid North Coast but it's going to weaken and move away towards the east. A cold front will bring cooler weather on Tuesday before turning into a weaker trough on Wednesday. High pressure will build up along the coast by the end of the week.
VIC: A high pressure system in the Bight is bringing cooler southerly winds to Victoria this week. Cold fronts are moving south of the state, keeping temperatures lower than usual.
SA: A strong high pressure system near Perth will bring clear skies and calm weather to most of Western Australia. A cold front will move through the southern part of the state early in the week, bringing cooler temperatures. The high will eventually move eastward towards the Tasman Sea by the end of the week.
WA: A big area of low pressure is hanging around near the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts. In the mornings, a high pressure system in southern WA will nudge the low pressure system out to sea.
TAS: A weak area of low pressure will pass over Tasmania on Monday, followed by cooler winds from the south due to a high pressure system in the Bight on Tuesday. The high pressure system will move closer to the west coast on Wednesday, keeping conditions stable until Thursday.
NT: A weak tropical low near Arafura Sea will bring showers and storms to Top End. Central districts will see showers from a developing cloud band. A ridge moving into central Australia will push drier air north, clearing up Top End by mid-week.
