Today there will be a few showers in the northwest, Cape York Peninsula, and the Granite Belt. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm near Torres Strait. It will be mostly sunny in other areas. Temperatures will be lower than usual in the west and southern interior, higher than usual in some parts of the east, and normal elsewhere.

Tuesday, 29th April

Today will see some isolated to scattered showers in the northwest, central interior, and over Cape York Peninsula, as well as along the exposed coast of the southeast. The rest of the country will be mostly sunny. It will be cooler than usual in the west and southern interior, but temperatures will be around average elsewhere.

Wednesday, 30th April

Today, there will be occasional showers along the east coast, central interior, and northwest regions of Australia. The showers will become more widespread in northern Cape York Peninsula and the exposed coast of the southeast. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms in Torres Strait. The weather will be mostly sunny in other areas. Maximum temperatures will be lower than usual in western Queensland and the southern interior, dropping even further in the southwest, but staying around average in other regions.

Thursday, 1st May

There will be some light rain in the eastern areas and Cape York Peninsula, with a possibility of thunderstorms in Torres Strait. The rest of the region will have mostly sunny weather. Temperatures will be around normal in the east coast above Hervey Bay, cooler in the southwest, and below average in the rest of Queensland.
