There is a possibility of a thunderstorm near the NSW border to the east of St George and in the northern Cape York Peninsula. There could be some fog in the southeast in the morning. Temperatures will be around normal for this time of year.

Today will have some light rain showers in the northwest, over Cape York Peninsula, and over the Granite Belt. The rest of the country will be mostly sunny. It will be cooler than usual in the southwest and the southern interior, but temperatures will be normal everywhere else.

Tuesday, 29th April

There will be some rain in the northwest, central interior, Cape York Peninsula, and southeast areas. The rest of the country will be mostly sunny. It will be cooler than usual in the southern, central, and western interior regions, but temperatures will be normal in other parts of the country.

Wednesday, 30th April

Tomorrow, there will be some light rain in the east and over Cape York Peninsula. In central and northern Queensland, there will be a few showers. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm in the Torres Strait. The rest of the state will be mostly sunny. Temperatures will be a bit lower than usual in the west and central areas.
