Some morning fog may be expected in central and southern Queensland. Maximum temperatures will be around average for this time of year.

Today will be mostly sunny in the western part of the country and along the east coast between Bowen and Gladstone. There may be some isolated to scattered showers in other areas. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm near the NSW border east of St George and over northern Cape York Peninsula. There could also be some morning fog in the southeast. Maximum temperatures will be below average in the southern interior and near average in other areas.

Monday, 28th April

Today will see a mix of isolated to scattered showers in the southern areas of Darling Downs and Granite Belt District, as well as over Cape York Peninsula. There is also a possibility of a thunderstorm in the Torres Strait. The rest of the region will experience mostly sunny conditions. Temperatures will be below average in the southern interior but near average in other areas.

There will be a few showers along the east coast, in the southeast, and over Cape York Peninsula in Australia. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm in the Torres Strait. The rest of the country will be mostly sunny. Temperatures will be lower than usual in the south, central, and west, but normal elsewhere.
