Temperatures will be lower than usual in the inland, southeast, and Gulf Country regions, but around average elsewhere.

It will be mostly sunny in the rest of the country, with temperatures below average in some areas and near average in others.

Today will be mostly sunny in the western and central inland areas as well as the central coast of Australia. There may be some isolated to scattered showers in other parts of the country. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm in the northern Cape York Peninsula and the Granite Belt region. The temperatures will be below average in the west and above average in the east, with other areas experiencing near average temperatures.

Monday, 28th April

Partly cloudy in the middle of the country. Rain showers here and there along the east coast and over Cape York Peninsula, with a few showers spreading across the southeast on Tuesday and moving into the eastern interior and Gulf Country by midweek. Possible thunderstorms in the north of Cape York Peninsula. Temperatures higher than usual on Monday near the east coast, but much cooler in the southwest, interior, and Gulf Country, and around normal everywhere else.
