Queensland Synoptic

A high pressure system is dominating southern Australia, bringing clear skies and warm temperatures to most of Queensland. However, a weak trough will bring some unsettled weather to the northeastern interior over the next few days. The high will gradually move eastward towards the Tasman Sea by Wednesday, leading to slightly stronger onshore winds over the southeast thanks to a weak Coral Sea trough. By the weekend, a new trough is expected to move across southern Queensland before moving off the east coast by Sunday afternoon. This will be followed by a new ridge extending over the state, bringing more stable weather conditions. Overall, Queensland can expect a mix of sunny days and possible showers in the coming days, with temperatures remaining mild.
