Australian State Summaries

QLD: A weather system is moving over central Queensland, heading towards the east coast by Tuesday. A high pressure system near southern Australia will bring slightly stronger winds to the southeast on Thursday. Another weak weather system may pass over southern Queensland on Friday and Saturday, clearing by Sunday.

WA: A high pressure ridge will stay in the north of WA for a few days. A trough will form in the western Pilbara tomorrow and move east on Thursday due to a new high pressure ridge in central WA.

TAS: High pressure ridge brings clear skies and calm conditions to the state today, moving eastward towards Tasmania by Wednesday. Expect a cold front to bring cooler temperatures and possible showers on Thursday and Friday.

NT: A strong weather system in the south is bringing dry, windy conditions to the Northern Territory, moving towards the northern coast by Tuesday. A low-pressure system near Nhulunbuy is slowly moving northwest over the Arafura Sea.
