Queensland Synoptic

Tropical Low 30U is currently situated in the Gulf of Carpentaria and is expected to track westward. A trough located in western Queensland will shift eastward across southern and central Queensland today before moving off the east coast by Tuesday. Following the trough, a high near southern Australia will establish a new ridge over Queensland. This high will then move eastward across the Tasman Sea on Wednesday and Thursday, leading to a slight increase in onshore winds over the southeast by Thursday. There is a possibility of a weak trough moving across southern Queensland on Friday and Saturday. Residents in the region should stay updated on weather forecasts and be prepared for potential changes in conditions.
