Today will be mostly sunny in western and central Queensland. There will be some clouds on the east coast with occasional showers north of Bowen, becoming more scattered around the Cassowary and Daintree Coasts. Showers will also be isolated on the southern Gulf Coast, becoming more scattered north of Kowanyama, and widespread with occasional thunderstorms and rain in northern Cape York Peninsula. Temperatures will be higher than usual from Mount Isa to Rockhampton, slightly lower than usual in northern Cape York Peninsula, and around average everywhere else.
Sunday, 20th April
Today will be mostly sunny in western and inland Queensland, with some showers in the north near Georgetown. There will be clouds in the east with showers between Proserpine and Gladstone, becoming more widespread in the north near Townsville. Showers will also be scattered in the southern Gulf Coast and Cape York Peninsula with isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the south from Mount Isa to Rockhampton, lower than usual in the far southwest, and normal in other areas.
Monday, 21st April
Today will be a mix of clouds and sun in western and inland Queensland, with occasional showers in the south. Showers will be scattered in the north from Townsville to Doomadgee, with some thunderstorms possible north of Coen. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the south, lower in the southwest, and normal elsewhere.
Tuesday, 22nd April
On Tuesday, western and central Queensland will be mostly sunny with a few showers in the Darling Downs. There will be isolated showers in eastern areas south of Rockhampton and Cape York Peninsula. Showers will become less frequent in Far North Queensland by Wednesday. Maximum temperatures will be lower than usual in western Queensland and the southern interior, decreasing even further by Thursday. Along the east coast and areas south of Ingham, temperatures will be higher than average on Tuesday, but near average elsewhere.
