Today will be mostly sunny in western and inland Queensland, with some isolated showers north of Hughenden. The east coast will be partly cloudy with isolated showers around K'gari and north of Mackay, becoming more scattered at times north of Ingham and the Peninsula. Showers may become more widespread with occasional thunderstorms possible in the northern Peninsula region. Overnight temperatures will be higher than usual in the northwest, and around or slightly below average elsewhere. Maximum temperatures will be slightly above average in central and southeast Queensland, and near average in other areas.

Saturday, 19th April

It will be mostly sunny in western and central Queensland, with some isolated showers to the north of Hughenden. The east coast will be partly cloudy with isolated showers around K'gari and north of St Lawrence, becoming more scattered to the north of Ayr. There will be isolated showers along the southern Gulf Coast, becoming scattered to the north of Normanton, and widespread with isolated thunderstorms and areas of rain over the northern Peninsula. Temperatures will be above average in the northwest, central, and southern parts of Queensland, and near or slightly below average in other areas.

Sunday, 20th April

Today will be mostly sunny in western and inland Queensland, with some isolated showers to the north of Longreach. There will be partly cloudy conditions in the east, with isolated showers north of Yeppoon. Showers may become more widespread around Townsville and the Daintree. Temperatures will be above average in the northwest, central, and southern parts of the state, but near or below average in the Channel Country and Far North Queensland. There could be isolated thunderstorms and areas of rain in the northern Peninsula region.

Monday, 21st April

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny in western and inland Queensland, with a chance of some isolated showers in certain areas. Showers may become more widespread in the north and east at times. Temperatures will vary across the region, with some areas experiencing above average heat while others will be cooler than usual.
