Thursday, 17th April

It will be mostly sunny in the western and inland parts of Queensland today. There may be a few isolated showers in the east and the Peninsula, with more scattered showers in the Wet Tropics and the northern Peninsula. There will be widespread showers in Torres Strait and some isolated thunderstorms north of Weipa. Overnight temperatures will be higher than usual in the far west, but otherwise temperatures will be around normal.

Friday, 18th April

In simple terms, the weather in Queensland will be mostly sunny in the western and inland areas, with some isolated showers in the north. Along the east coast, it will be partly cloudy with showers in certain areas. There may be scattered showers in the north and possible thunderstorms in some parts. Temperatures will be warmer than usual in the northwest and central west regions.

Saturday, 19th April

Today will be mostly sunny in western and inland Queensland, with a few showers in the north of Hughenden. The east coast will be partly cloudy with isolated showers around K'gari and north of Mackay, becoming more scattered north of Townsville. Showers will also be isolated in the southern Gulf Coast, becoming more scattered north of Normanton. There will be widespread showers at times with isolated thunderstorms and areas of rain over the Peninsula. Temperatures will be higher than usual in the northwest, central and southern parts of Queensland, and slightly below average in other areas.

Sunday, 20th April

Today, most of western and inland Queensland will have sunny weather, with a few showers in the north around Longreach. There may be isolated showers in the east, and possibly more in the south and southeast. Showers could become more widespread, with some thunderstorms and rain in parts of the Peninsula, eastern Gulf of Carpentaria coast, and Wet Tropics. Temperatures will be above average in the northwest, central, and southern parts of Queensland, but cooler in the Channel Country due to a southwesterly change on Monday.
