QLD: A big high south of Tasmania is bringing strong winds to most of Queensland, but they will calm down soon. A trough near the Coral Sea and Papua New Guinea will bring more rain to Cape York Peninsula and Torres Strait. A low in the Tasman Sea will create big waves on the east coast.

Another high will bring more stable weather through the weekend. By midweek, a low pressure system will bring gusty winds and possible showers.
VIC: Queensland will have warmer northeasterly winds due to a high moving over the southern Tasman Sea. This weather pattern will continue until the end of the week.
SA: A big high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is bringing stable weather to northern South Australia this week. A low pressure system is moving in from the west today and will spread rain over western and southern areas starting Wednesday.
WA: A tropical low is heading west towards the Kimberley and may become a cyclone today. It will then move back east towards the Kimberley coast. There is also a slow-moving trough over the western Pilbara.
TAS: A weak ridge is sitting over Tasmania and will gradually move away over the next couple of days. A trough will form off the west coast on Thursday and move slowly across Tasmania from the west on Friday.
NT: A line of high ground stretches across the Northern Territory, bringing dry air to the Top End. There might be a tropical storm forming in the Arafura Sea, moving towards the northeast Top End and Gulf of Carpentaria by the end of the week.
