Maximum temperatures will be slightly higher than usual in the far west, and around average elsewhere.

Today will be mostly sunny in the western and central parts of Queensland with some isolated showers in the east. Showers may become more widespread at times in the Torres Strait. There may also be isolated thunderstorms north of Weipa. Temperatures will be around average for this time of year.

There may be some isolated showers in the eastern districts, with scattered showers expected in the Wet Tropics and northern Peninsula. Showers will be widespread in Torres Strait, with isolated thunderstorms possible north of Weipa. Temperatures will be around average.

Temperatures will be above average in some parts of Queensland.
