A tropical low near the Kimberley coast is causing thick clouds and thunderstorms in the area, with a trough extending east meeting another low pressure system near the Northern Territory, also causing similar weather in the Top End. Inland Western Australia and the southwest coastline are experiencing cloud cover and thunderstorm activity due to a low pressure system and trough. Tasmania and Victoria have mid-level clouds from a recent cold front, with streakier clouds in eastern Victoria and southeastern New South Wales. The eastern seaboard is seeing low level clouds from onshore flow, while the rest of the country has relatively clear skies.
