There will be some clouds in other areas with isolated showers in the east, becoming more scattered along the coast. Showers will be widespread at times in K'gari, the Sunshine Coast, and the Wet Tropics, with showers becoming more widespread and turning into areas of rain in the northern Peninsula. There may be some isolated thunderstorms north of Coen. Temperatures will be slightly higher than usual in the far west and near average in other areas.
Tuesday, 15th April
Mostly sunny in the western and inland areas of Queensland, with a possibility of showers in the east from Hughenden to Goondiwindi. There may be scattered showers in the eastern regions and widespread showers in the far north. Temperatures will be slightly higher than usual in the west and average in other areas.
Wednesday, 16th April
Today will be mostly sunny in western and inland Queensland. There may be some scattered showers in the eastern districts, with more widespread showers possible in the far northern Peninsula. There might also be isolated thunderstorms north of Weipa. Temperatures will be slightly higher than usual in the far west and average elsewhere.
Thursday, 17th April
Mostly sunny in western and inland Queensland, with a few isolated showers possible north of Hughenden starting Friday and north of Longreach starting Saturday. Showers may be scattered at times along the coast. There could be widespread showers at times in the far northern Peninsula and Gulf Country from the weekend. Isolated thunderstorms possible north of Weipa, and potentially along the coast north of Cooktown and Normanton from the weekend. Maximum temperatures slightly higher than usual in the southern interior, and around average elsewhere.
