There may be isolated to scattered showers in the eastern districts, with a possibility of more widespread rain in the Cassowary Coast and Daintree areas. Temperatures will be slightly above average in the far west and near average elsewhere.
Friday, 11th April
Today in western Queensland there will be some clouds and a few showers scattered throughout the area. In the east, there will be more showers, especially around Cassowary Coast and Daintree, with a chance of heavier rain in the north. Temperatures will be slightly higher than usual in the south.
Saturday, 12th April
Today in western Queensland, there will be some clouds and a chance of scattered rain in the east from Richmond to Tambo to Quilpie. Showers will also be scattered in the eastern districts, possibly becoming more widespread on the Southeast Coast. There may be heavier showers in the Peninsula and North Tropical Coast, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms near Cairns. Temperatures will be slightly higher than usual in the far west and normal in other areas.
Sunday, 13th April
It will be partly cloudy in western Queensland with a chance of isolated showers in the interior east of Richmond to Charleville. Showers will be scattered in the east, possibly becoming widespread along the Southeast Coast on Sunday. There may be widespread showers at times in the Peninsula and North Tropical Coast, with moderate falls possible. Isolated thunderstorms are expected north of Kowanyama. Maximum temperatures will be slightly above average in the far west and near average elsewhere.
