The showers may become more widespread at times, especially along the southeast coast. There could also be some thunderstorms in the northern regions. Temperatures will be near or slightly below average in the north and northwest, but around average elsewhere.
Thursday, 10th April
Today will be partly cloudy in western Queensland with some isolated showers in the central and southern interior. There will be scattered showers in the eastern districts, with a chance of widespread rain in the Cassowary Coast and Daintree areas. Temperatures will be near average in most areas.
Friday, 11th April
Today will be partly cloudy in western Queensland with scattered showers in the northern, central and southern areas, as well as the Gulf Country. There will be isolated to scattered showers in the eastern districts, becoming more widespread in the Cassowary Coast and Daintree regions. Showers may become more widespread at times, potentially turning into areas of rain in the northern Peninsula with moderate rainfall possible. There may be isolated thunderstorms in the Gulf Country and Peninsula north of Kowanyama to Laura. Maximum temperatures will be near or slightly below average in the northern interior and Far North Queensland, while being near or slightly above average elsewhere.
Saturday, 12th April
Today will be partly cloudy in western Queensland with a chance of isolated showers in the interior east of Richmond to Charleville. Showers will be scattered in the east, possibly becoming widespread on the Southeast Coast over the weekend. There may be widespread showers over the Peninsula and North Tropical Coast, with moderate falls possible. Isolated thunderstorms are expected in the Gulf Country and Peninsula north of Kowanyama to Laura. Maximum temperatures will be near or slightly below average in northern Queensland and near or slightly above average elsewhere.
