QLD: A big high over South Australia is bringing dry and calm weather to inland Queensland. The high will move east, making the east coast even more settled. A trough in the Coral Sea could bring more rain to the northern Cape York Peninsula soon.

VIC: A strong high pressure system over the Great Australian Bight will move across Victoria on Tuesday then to the Tasman Sea on Wednesday. This high will bring clear skies and calm weather, with a ridge extending towards Victoria later in the week and weekend.

SA: A big high pressure system in southern South Australia will move towards the east and end up over the Tasman Sea by Tuesday evening. A trough will form in the west on Wednesday, then move across central and eastern areas on Thursday. A new high will come in from the west and settle south of the Bight by Friday.

WA: A band of low pressure over western Pilbara is moving east towards the Northern Interior this week. Another low pressure area will form over western Pilbara on Thursday as a ridge offshore weakens. A high pressure system over central Australia will bring dry winds from the east to the Kimberley region.

TAS: A strong high pressure system will bring westerly winds on Tuesday, shifting to northwesterly on Wednesday as it moves over the Tasman Sea. A cold front will bring cooler weather on Thursday, followed by a high pressure ridge on Friday.

NT: A big high pressure system in southern Australia is bringing sunny weather to the south this week. The Northern Territory will see some isolated showers and thunderstorms in the north due to humid easterly winds.
