Queensland Synoptic

A trough in the north is losing its groove today, while a high in the west is bringing dry weather to western and southern Queensland. The east coast will start feeling the ridge's strength from Tuesday as the high makes its way across southern Australia and into the Tasman Sea. Down south, a weak trough might make a quick appearance in the far southeast early this week. Meanwhile, a trough in the far north could team up with a ridge to bring some much-needed rain to the northern Cape York Peninsula for the week.
