Showers could become more widespread at times and turn into areas of rain with moderate falls in the Peninsula area north of Coen. There could also be some early morning fog in the southeast inland areas of Queensland. The maximum temperatures will be near or slightly above average along the central coast of Queensland, while remaining around average in other areas.

Today will be mostly sunny in the western and inland parts of Queensland, with some isolated showers in the east and central regions. There may be scattered showers in the north and near the east coast, possibly becoming widespread along the southeast coast. Showers may become more widespread at times, with some areas experiencing rain over the northern Peninsula. There is a chance of isolated thunderstorms in the Gulf Country and Peninsula. Temperatures will be near or slightly below average in the northern interior and northwest, while remaining around average in other areas.

Today will be partly cloudy in western Queensland with some light showers in the central and southern interior. There will be scattered showers in the eastern districts, with more rain expected in the Cassowary Coast and Daintree areas. Temperatures will be near average in most areas, with some isolated thunderstorms in the Gulf Country and Peninsula.
Friday, 11th April
It will be partly cloudy in western Queensland with isolated showers possible in some areas. There could be more widespread showers in the interior south of Hughenden by Saturday. Showers are expected in eastern districts, with the possibility of heavier rain on the Southeast Coast over the weekend. Some areas may experience isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures will be near normal in most areas, but slightly cooler in the north.
