Today will be mostly sunny in the inland areas south of Hughenden and in southeast Queensland. There might be a few isolated showers along the east coast north of St Lawrence, with more scattered showers possible north of Townsville. Showers could become widespread in the North Tropical Coast and northern Peninsula, with moderate rainfall possible. There may also be isolated thunderstorms from Croydon to Cooktown. It will be partly cloudy in other areas. Maximum temperatures will be near or below average in western and interior Queensland, but above average in southeast Queensland and near average everywhere else.
Tuesday, 8th April
Today will be mostly sunny in western and inland Queensland, with some isolated showers in the eastern parts. There may be a few thunderstorms in the Gulf Country and Peninsula. Showers could become more widespread at times with moderate rainfall expected in some areas. Temperatures will be close to or slightly above average along the central coast but generally average elsewhere.
Wednesday, 9th April
Today will be mostly sunny in western and inland areas of Queensland, with some isolated showers in the east and central/southern inland regions. Showers may become more widespread in the southeast and northern Peninsula, with possible moderate falls. There may also be isolated thunderstorms in the Gulf Country and Peninsula. Temperatures will be near or slightly below average in the north and around average elsewhere.
Thursday, 10th April
It will be partly cloudy in western Queensland with isolated showers developing more widely across interior Queensland south of Hughenden by Saturday. There will be isolated to scattered showers in the eastern districts, possibly becoming widespread along the Southeast Coast over the weekend. Showers may become widespread at times over the northern Peninsula, possibly reaching Cairns from Friday with moderate rainfall possible. Isolated thunderstorms are expected in the Gulf Country and Peninsula north of Kowanyama to Laura. Maximum temperatures will be around average.
