Today will be mostly sunny in the far southwest of Australia. There will be scattered showers in other areas, with some isolated thunderstorms north of Brisbane to Mount Isa. Showers will become more widespread in northern, central, and southeast Queensland. There is a chance of severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall in eastern Queensland. Temperatures will be below average in western Queensland, above average in eastern districts, and near average elsewhere. Morning fog is possible in the far southwest.

Friday, 4th April

It will be mostly sunny in the inland areas of southern Queensland, west of Goondiwindi. There may be isolated to scattered showers in other areas, with isolated thunderstorms possible north of Rockhampton to Mount Isa. Showers could become more widespread in the Gulf Country, central and northern Queensland south of Cardwell. Temperatures will be below average in the northwestern and central interior of Queensland, above average along the tropical east coast, and near average in other areas.

Saturday, 5th April

Today will be mostly sunny in inland southern Queensland, with some scattered showers in other areas. There may be isolated thunderstorms in the north. Showers could become more widespread in the northern Peninsula and near the tropical east coast. Temperatures will be near or below average in the west and interior, but above average on the east coast.

Sunday, 6th April

Today will be mostly sunny in western and central parts of Queensland below Hughenden. There may be a few scattered showers in the east, increasing to widespread showers in the North Tropical Coast and northern Peninsula on Sunday. There is a chance of isolated thunderstorms in the north, with temperatures varying across the region.
