QLD: A line of rain will move east along the southeast coast early this morning. There will be some rainy days in northern Queensland, while southern Queensland will have some sunny weather. A new line of rain will move into the southwest on Tuesday and spread across central and southern Queensland on Wednesday.
NSW and ACT: A storm off the east coast of New South Wales will bring rainy and windy weather to Illawarra and South Coast. Conditions will improve next week as the storm moves away. A new trough may bring more rain later in the week.
VIC: A strong high pressure system is in the Great Australian Bight, with a ridge extending south of Tasmania. A low pressure system is forming over the Tasman Sea, moving slowly southeast next week. A cold front is expected to arrive from the west on Wednesday.
SA: A big high pressure system near the Bight will bring calm weather with a cool breeze from the southeast this weekend. The high will move eastwards on Tuesday, bringing a mild cold front to the southern areas by the end of next week.
WA: Former Cyclone Dianne will keep moving inland through the Kimberley region. A trough is near the west Pilbara coast and will stay put for a few days before moving eastward on Tuesday.
TAS: Today in Tasmania, there will be a cool breeze from the south to southeast due to a high pressure system. A low pressure system near New South Wales will move towards the Tasman Sea on Monday, with the high pressure system strengthening to the south of Tasmania. The low will stay in the Tasman Sea on Tuesday and Wednesday with a weak ridge over the state.
NT: The monsoon trough is bringing heavy rain and storms to northern NT until early next week. Ex-Tropical Cyclone Dianne is moving over the Kimberley and will weaken as it heads towards the Gregory and Tanami Districts by Wednesday.
