Today, there will be scattered to widespread showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms across the state. In eastern districts south of Rockhampton, there will be mainly showers and rain. There is a chance of moderate to heavy rainfall inland west of Dalby and over the Central Coast. Maximum temperatures will be near average in Cape York Peninsula, below average in other areas, and well below average in the southern interior.

Friday, 28th March

There will be rain and thunderstorms across the state, with heavier rainfall likely in the west near Dalby and along the coast between Bowen and Bundaberg. Temperatures will be around normal in Cape York Peninsula but cooler elsewhere, especially in the southern interior. Showers will continue in the southeast.

Saturday, 29th March

Today in Australia, there will be scattered to widespread showers, rain, and isolated thunderstorms in the southeast part of the state. In the Southeast Coast District, it will mainly be showers and rain. Other areas will have isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms. There may be moderate to heavy rainfall in the southeast. Temperatures will be around average in the east and Cape York Peninsula, but below average in other areas, especially in the far southwest.

Sunday, 30th March

There will be some rain showers throughout the state, with a few isolated thunderstorms in the north and south-east on Sunday. The south-eastern part of the state may experience moderate rainfall. Temperatures will be around normal in the east and Cape York, but cooler in other areas, especially in the southwest until Tuesday.
