QLD: A big rainy weather system is stretching across inland northern Australia and connecting to a slow-moving system in western Queensland. A weaker system along the east coast will stick around for a few days, bringing more rain and moisture to the state.
NSW and ACT: A high pressure system in the east will stick around until later in the week, while a trough in the west will slowly move south. Troughs and fronts will bring a quick cool change to the south coast tomorrow.
VIC: A strong high pressure system to the south is creating a line of high pressure over the ocean between Tasmania and the mainland. This setup is likely to stick around for most of the upcoming week.
SA: A big high-pressure system is hanging over the waters down south, while a sluggish trough in southwest Queensland is creating cloudy patches in the northeast of South Australia.
WA: A weather system is forming over Kimberley, bringing windy conditions to Pilbara and North Interior. A tropical low is developing northwest of Pilbara coast, expected to move offshore without affecting WA coast directly.
TAS: A strong high pressure system will bring clear skies and calm conditions to Tasmania until mid-week. A weak cold front will pass to the south on Wednesday, followed by the return of high pressure and settled weather on Thursday. The high will move eastward over the Tasman Sea by Friday.
NT: A big storm is coming to the Top End and Carpentaria District, bringing lots of rain and thunderstorms. Down south, it will be less stormy but still overcast and drizzly. Temperatures will be cooler than usual all across the Northern Territory.
