There will be occasional showers in the southern interior and more widespread showers elsewhere. There may be isolated thunderstorms from St Lawrence to Quilpie. Northern Queensland and the Central Coast could experience moderate to heavy rainfall. Temperatures will be around normal in Cape York Peninsula, cooler than usual on the east coast, and much cooler elsewhere.
