Today, there will be some rain and storms spread out across the state, mostly turning into just rain in the east below Bowen. Rain will be more widespread in some areas like the interior, southern Gulf coast, and between Ayr and Innisfail. Inland areas west of Blackall may see moderate to heavy rainfall, especially west of Julia Creek and between Ayr and Innisfail. Temperatures will be around average on the east coast and Cape York Peninsula, but cooler in the interior.
Tuesday, 25th March
There will be some rain and thunderstorms across the state, with more showers expected to the east of Bowen to St George. The central interior west of Longreach and the northeast coast between Innisfail and Bowen will see moderate to heavy rainfall. Temperatures will be around average in Cape York Peninsula, below average on the east coast, and well below average elsewhere.
Wednesday, 26th March
There will be some rain in the south and more widespread rain in other areas, along with a few thunderstorms in the northwest. There could be moderate to heavy rainfall in northern Queensland and the Central Coast. Temperatures will be normal in Cape York Peninsula, cooler on the east coast, and much cooler elsewhere.
Thursday, 27th March
There will be some showers across Queensland, with more in the central and northern areas. There may also be some thunderstorms from Longreach to Bowen. There could be heavy rain in the north and Central Coast, but this will decrease by the weekend. Temperatures will be normal in Cape York, cooler on the east coast, and much cooler elsewhere.
