Saturday, 22nd March

Today, there will be some rain and thunderstorms happening in different parts of the state. In areas between Yeppoon and Brisbane, it will mainly be showers. There will be a moderate amount of rain in the far southwest. Temperatures will be cooler than usual in the west, warmer in the southeast, and normal in other areas.

Sunday, 23rd March

Today will have some light rain and possible thunderstorms spread out across the state, with the rain only sticking around in the eastern areas below Bowen. The rain will be quite heavy at times in the far west, with temperatures cooler than usual in the west but normal in other areas.

Monday, 24th March

There will be some rain and thunderstorms scattered around the state, but mostly just rain in the eastern areas below Cairns. The rain will be heavier in the west near Winton and the North Tropical Coast. The temperatures will be normal in the east and Cape York Peninsula, but cooler everywhere else, especially inland in the west.

Tuesday, 25th March

There will be a few showers here and there across the state. Some thunderstorms are expected up north near Hughenden, with a chance of one in the far west on Tuesday. The northwest could see moderate to heavy rain on Tuesday, possibly spreading to the far north on Wednesday. Temperatures will be around average in the east and south, but below average in most other areas, especially in the northwest inland.
