Today will be partly cloudy in the southern region of Queensland between Stanthorpe and Cunnamulla. There will be isolated to scattered showers in other areas, with a chance of thunderstorms in western Queensland and regions north of Mackay. Expect widespread showers along the east coast, southern Cape York Peninsula, far northwest, and northern interior, with possible heavy rainfall in the Gulf Country. Maximum temperatures will be below average in inland central to northwestern Queensland, and near or below average elsewhere.
Friday, 21st March
Today, there will be some rain across most of the state, with only a few showers in the southern interior. There might be some thunderstorms in western Queensland and parts of the north, possibly with heavy rain. The east coast, Cape York Peninsula, and Gulf Country will also see showers. Temperatures will be lower than usual in the northwest, central Queensland will be a bit cooler, but the southern interior will be warmer. Everywhere else will be about average.
Saturday, 22nd March
Today, there will be a few showers spread out across most of the state, with only a few in the central and southeast areas. There might be some isolated thunderstorms in western and northern Queensland. Showers could become more widespread along the east coast above Townsville. Temperatures will be below average in the northwest and central regions, higher than usual in the southern interior, and around average everywhere else.
Sunday, 23rd March
Today, there will be scattered showers in most parts of the state, with some areas experiencing isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures will be lower than usual in the northwest, higher in the south, and normal elsewhere. The thunderstorms are expected to move towards the Gulf Country, Peninsula, and far southwest regions.
