G'day! The weather report for March 16, 2025, shows a cold front and prefrontal trough causing a lot of cloud cover in the southeast of Australia, with some patchy low level cloud hanging around the southern seaboard. Up north, there's a bunch of convective cloud and thunderstorms offshore, and some mid to high level cloud drifting over northern Queensland. The northern half of the country is also seeing some low level cloud and thunderstorms popping up here and there. Meanwhile, the tropical north Queensland coast is getting a good dose of moist air and thick low level cloud thanks to a fresh southeasterly flow. The rest of the country is pretty much cloud-free, so get your sunnies out! Copyright Commonwealth of Australia 2011, Bureau of Meteorology. Cheers!
