QLD: A ridge is hanging around eastern Queensland for a while, but it'll take a breather before coming back stronger on Tuesday. There might be a trough up north soon, teaming up with the ridge to bring some rain to the northeast and Far North Queensland. A weak trough will pass through the south on Sunday and head off the southeast coast on Monday. So keep an eye out for some wet weather ahead!

NSW and ACT: A big ol' high pressure system is hanging out over the Tasman Sea, sending a ridge over NSW. But hold onto your hats, because a cold front and trough are coming through between Sunday and Monday. Then, a new high pressure ridge will roll in from the Bight, making its way eastwards over the Tasman Sea by midweek. So, get ready for some weather shenanigans, folks.

VIC: A bloody hot northerly wind is blowing over Victoria thanks to a high pressure system in the Tasman Sea. There's a trough chilling out in western Victoria too. But don't get too comfortable, a cold front is coming from the west on Sunday. By Monday, a high from the Bight will start flexing its muscles over us. Then it's off to the Tasman Sea by Tuesday. So get ready for a weather rollercoaster, mate!

SA: A bloody hot northerly wind is blowing over central and eastern South Australia thanks to a high pressure system over the Tasman Sea. A cold front will bring relief to the west on Saturday and the rest of the state on Sunday. The trough will stick around the northeastern border before buggering off. A strong high pressure system will roll in on Monday, hitting the Bight before heading over to the Tasman Sea on Tuesday.

WA: There's a big ol' trough hanging out over northern WA, while a high pressure ridge down south is flexing its muscles and shoving that trough north over the Pilbara coast on Sunday. So if you're in the north, expect some weather action heading your way. Time to batten down the hatches and prepare for some wild winds and possible rain. Stay safe out there, mate!

TAS: Get ready for some wild weather in Tassie this weekend! A chilly southerly wind will sweep through on Monday before a high pressure system brings some calm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Keep those winter woollies handy and watch out for flying umbrellas!
