Showers may become more widespread in the northeast tropical coast and northern Cape York Peninsula, with potential for moderate rainfall. Temperatures will be above average in the southwest and southern interior, but near average elsewhere.

In western and interior Queensland, it's partly cloudy with scattered showers, while expect the chance of thunderstorms in the north and tropical east, and widespread showers along the Cassowary and Daintree coasts and the northern Peninsula, with temperatures above average inland and near average elsewhere.
Sunday, 16th March
In the far southwest and southern interior, it's partly cloudy with a chance of showers, while northern and central Queensland may experience thunderstorms north of Rockhampton. Showers will be widespread at times along the tropical east coast and northern Peninsula, with potential for moderate falls. Watch out for heavy rain in the northeast tropical coast, but don't count on exact amounts just yet. Expect above average temperatures in inland southern Queensland, but near or below average in the north and central regions.
Monday, 17th March
In the far southwest and southern interior, it's partly cloudy with a chance of showers, while in northern and central Queensland, thunderstorms may strike and even head west by Wednesday. Showers will be widespread at times, especially along the east coast north of Rockhampton, Cape York Peninsula, and the southern Gulf coast, with heavy falls possible in the northeast tropical coast, though the exact amounts are uncertain. Maximum temperatures will be above average in inland southern Queensland, but near or below average in most of the state.
