Northern and western Queensland will see isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, while the southeastern quarter and Central Coast may experience light showers, with the northern Peninsula and northeast tropical coast facing potentially widespread rain; severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are possible in the western, central and southern interior, with northeast to southeasterly winds and above average maximum temperatures in the southwest and near average temperatures elsewhere.

In eastern districts south of Rockhampton, expect isolated to scattered light showers, with a chance of a thunderstorm across the rest of Queensland, particularly along the tropical east coast and inland areas of Far North Queensland, where showers may become more widespread at times, while maximum temperatures will be above average in the far southwest and near or slightly below average elsewhere.

Grab your umbrella and sunscreen, folks, because Queensland is serving up a mixed bag of partly cloudy skies, scattered showers, and the occasional thunderstorm in the north and west, with temperatures running hot in the southwest and southern interior.
Saturday, 15th March
In western and interior Queensland, it's partly cloudy but watch out for isolated showers and thunderstorms in the north, especially near Townsville and the Central Coast. Be prepared for some widespread showers along the northeast tropical coast and northern Cape York Peninsula, with possible moderate falls. And don't forget your sunscreen, as maximum temperatures will be above average in inland southern Queensland and near or slightly below average elsewhere.
